DescriptionThe project proposes an elderly care home based on the belief that care and a sense of home are not conflicting values but complementary qualities. The concept creates an environment that supports both professional care and the preservation of personal independence, social relationships and everyday routines.

The development is organized around small-scale residential clusters conceived as “nests”, connected through a network of shared indoor and outdoor spaces. Housing units, courtyards and gardens form an integrated system that balances privacy with community life.

Rather than following the model of a conventional institution, the proposal is inspired by the spatial logic of a small neighborhood. Community spaces, activity areas, library, chapel, bistro and gardens create opportunities for interaction and social engagement throughout daily life.

Through the careful integration of architecture, landscape and community, the project provides a dignified, familiar and sustainable environment tailored to the needs of elderly residents.
