Type: Restoration / Religious
Location: Subcetate village
Year: 2014
Area: 405 m²
Description:
The project proposes the rehabilitation and functional reconfiguration of an existing church developed through multiple historical phases.
The intervention strengthens the symbolic value of the building by extending the nave and redefining the roof volume.
A new exposed timber roof structure creates a generous and expressive interior space, enhanced by controlled natural lighting through skylight and stained glass.
The resulting architecture blends local tradition with contemporary expression, reinforcing the church as a community landmark.
